FAQ

Q1: What comes in the box?
A: The aluminium profile media wall frame comes with all structural aluminium profiles and required connectors. It does NOT include finishing panels or surface materials such as plasterboard, paint or cladding.

Q2: Which size options are available?

A:

• Overall Height: Set at 220cm.
  
• Overall Width: Set at 210cm.
  
• Overall Frame Depth: Choose 25cm or 40cm. (The stated overall depth includes the 30mm aluminium profiles on both sides.)
  
• TV Bay Height: Choose 72cm, 84cm or 98cm to match your TV size.
  
• Fireplace Bay Height: Choose the option that fits your electric fireplace model.
  
• Post Adjustment: The TV area can be height-adjusted after installation, while the side posts can be moved left or right for accurate alignment.
  
• Profile Size: Each aluminium profile measures 30mm x 30mm.

Q3: Which TVs and fireplaces are compatible?
A:

• TVs: Suitable for 55, 65 and 75 inch models.
  
• Fireplaces: Intended for built-in or recessed electric fireplaces. We stock a selection of compatible fireplaces, so please check the matched models in our product range. Not suitable for 3 sided or freestanding fireplaces.

Q4: How do I secure it to the wall?
A: The frame can be firmly fixed to brick/block walls or timber/steel stud walls. For stud walls, make sure the screws are fixed directly into the wall studs or noggins.

Q5: Can the frame be shortened for a lower ceiling?
A: Yes. If your ceiling is below 220cm, the aluminium profiles can be carefully cut down to reduce the total height. Make sure the remaining TV and fireplace openings are still large enough for your chosen units.

Q6: What should I do if my ceiling is higher than the frame?
A: We recommend building the frame from the floor upwards for proper support, particularly around the fireplace section. If your ceiling is higher (for example up to 240cm), install the full 220cm frame as normal. You can then close the remaining gap above by fixing plasterboard to a horizontal timber batten attached to the ceiling.

Q7: Can I include a recess for a soundbar?
A: Yes. A soundbar niche can be made between the TV and fireplace bays by cutting the plasterboard during installation. Please refer to our installation video for guidance.

Q8: How should the surface be finished?
A: The frame is designed to be covered with standard plasterboard, then skimmed, sanded and painted to achieve a smooth, built-in look.

Q9: Can I extend the frame or add shelving?
A: No. This system is not designed for structural extension or for adding custom shelves or cabinets.
